Mare and foaling services

For the horse-owner that lacks the experience or the time to properly care for and foal out their mare. Our foaling services include, Full board, daily care and exercise, supervision during and care of foal after foaling. Foaling services start at $600.00 per month with a $200.00 foaling charge. *We suggest the mare arrive at least one month prior to foaling date, to properly acclimate to her new surroundings. We also suggest foals stay for an additional two weeks after foaling. Vet fees will be in addition to foaling services.

Fees include typical foal care and monitoring after delivery.

We have large (12 X 24), spacious, foaling stalls. Each stall is equipped with a closed-circuit camera that is connected to monitors within the facility, and to our home. During foaling season, we monitor 24 hours per day to watch and assist your mare to ensure the safest foaling possible.

Your foal will be imprinted at birth. They all are haltered the first day and lead every where they go on the farm. In our opinion, two handlers for a mare and foal helps us train the foal to be handled and keeps him safe day to day. A goal is to have every foal that goes home, well halter broke, able to pick up their feet and allow themselves to be brushed quietly.
