We accept a limited number of outside horses for training at Double "C" Texas Walkers.  We do have some requirements for all horses coming here to work with us:

1.   They must be current on all vaccinations and worming.  They must have a negative coggins within 12 months for Texas.  Other timeframes may apply for out of state horses.

2.   They must be sound, healthy and in good flesh

3.   Any wolf teeth should have been extracted, a dental float within the last 6 months.

4.   No horse younger than 2 yrs old will be accepted for under-saddle training.  We have special colt breaking and beginning ground training for weanlings to 2 years old.

5.   The canter will not be trained on any horse younger than 4 yrs. old.

6.   Sorry, but we cannot accept stallions for training, due to space limitations at our facility. 

           

  

PLEASE NOTE: It is not unusual for us to be booked for several months in advance, so plan ahead and contact us to reserve space for your horse.
